The corrosion inhibition of Al alloys is the subject huge technological importance wing to use these in wide industrial applications. Fatigue life (number cycles failure Nf) for Al-Mg alloy 3.5% NaCl at different acidity and alkalinity (pH=1) with inhibitors was investigated this study. were composed mainly phosphate, adding a certain proportion other nontoxic select alternatives environmentally hazardous chromate. behavior studied by using fatigue machine plane-bending mode. large difference between corrosive mediums, such as NaCl, that dry air noticed. results showed without inhibitor, minimum obtained pH=1, where media too aggressive (extremely acidic), whereas highest value pH=5 very low solubility oxide film on alloy. As concentration inhibitor increased number well. scanning electron microscope (SEM) had conducted surface morphology fracture section specimens characterizing.
